SportsCare of Illinois is a multidisciplinary sports medicine clinic located in the Koke Mill Medical Center.

Utilizing the "team" approach to sports injury treatment, the physician may be joined by a physical therapist, athletic trainer and dietitian who together, provide a comprehensive treatment plan for a quick, effective and safe return to activity.

SportsCare of Illinois participates in school outreach programs. Our staff visits participating schools to assess injured athletes, follow-up with students already in a rehabilitation program and assist coaches with injury prevention and recognition.

Our commitment to community education extends to parents, coaches, athletes and booster clubs through presentations on specific topics and panel discussions. Our clinic library has videotapes and books on injuries, rehabilitation, nutrition and training techniques available for school projects and patient education.

SportsCare's licensed and certified athletic trainers are also available to do free athletic injury screenings. During a 20 minute evaluation, appropriate recommendations including simple exercise, rest, self-treatment or physician referral may be made.
