At OCI, our physicians and staff pride themselves on their expertise with work-related illnesses and injuries. We know early diagnosis and treatment are critical to returning an injured worker to the job as soon as possible, thereby reducing both medical costs and lost time from work.
OCI offers the following services as part of Injured Workers’ Center:
- Timely appointments for the injured worker (most seen within 24-hours and ALWAYS with a physician).
- Midwest Imaging, our state-of-the-art diagnostic tools for diagnosis and treatment plan including an MRI, Open MRI, CT Scanner, and Bone Density Scanner.
- In-house radiology department that allows digital x-rays to be viewed by the physician at the time of the appointment.
- Injured Worker Center staff trained in workers’ compensation.
- Timely office notes sent to appropriate parties as requested (includes return-to-work information, next
appointment, specific work restrictions). - Midwest Rehab, an on-site highly respected rehabilitation center staffed by a group of licensed physical therapists with over one hundred years of experience. Work conditioning, spinal rehabilitation, and aerobic exercise is offered with the latest, state-of-the-art equipment..
- Orthopaedic Surgery Center of Illinois, outpatient surgery center located across the street from our facility, if needed.
